Green rooms - Baufritz, Uetendorf

The project
In addition to the offices of BAUFRITZ AG Switzerland, the building combines three apartments, an exhibition section on the subject of building ecology and biology, and a show apartment for trial living under one roof. The building meets the required standards of the MINERGIE-Eco and SHI-Health Pass labels and is certified accordingly. In addition, the project was accompanied by ETH Zurich, which, among other things, examined the environmental indicators of emissions, primary energy demand, human toxicity and ecotoxicity.

The construction
Fire protection: The legally required fire protection concept was prepared by Timbatec. In the event of a fire, the fire protection concept ensures, among other things, the safety of all persons, effective firefighting and the safety of the rescue forces. The fire protection concept defines the requirements for the individual fire compartments/components of the building. The "Green Rooms" building is a residential and commercial building with three floors and a gallery. The wooden structure has the requirements R30 / EI30 / REI 30 {load-bearing capacity (R), room closure (E) and thermal insulation (I), 30min}.
