The apartment building in Zurich Wollishofen is built entirely in wood, including the staircase. In this building on the Aspweg hill, six new apartments were created, distributed over two full floors and an attic.
The Tüfisteg pedestrian and bicycle bridge

The Tüfisteg pedestrian and bicycle bridge in Adliswil is getting on in years. Analyses showed that replacing the bridge would cost almost as much as renovating it. Today, a new bridge leads over the Sihl - with beech wood from the surrounding forests.
Nursing home Wier

The new building of the Wier nursing home in Ebnat-Kappel is designed as a hybrid construction. All the wood used comes from the surrounding communities of Ebnat-Kappel. This required good coordination.
Wildlife transfer Rynetel

It took a long time to convince people: more than 20 years ago, Stefan Zöllig demonstrated that wood is the right choice of construction material for wildlife bridges. Today, the wooden bridge over the A1 highway between Suhr and Hunzenschwil is impressive.
V-Zug Semiramis

The replacement building at Wehntalerstrasse 52 in Zurich-Unterstrass is erected. With the use of clay panels, sheep's wool insulation, flexible walls and TS3 technology, the timber construction is highly interesting from an ecological and technical point of view.

With the construction of the NaturQuartier in the fortress town of Kufstein, the largest wooden residential building in Tyrol to date has been realized.

In Neuenkirch, the Federal Roads Office FEDRO is already building the second wildlife bridge with a wooden overpass after the Rynetel wildlife bridge. The wildlife overpass in the canton of Lucerne has a width of 50 meters and a length of around 36 meters.

On Thursday, October 19, 2023 the inspection of this exciting real estate project took place. The new apartement building «Scherli», built in sustainable timber construction and according to Minergie-P standards, convinces aesthetically as well as functionally.
In the next ten years, school buildings will be needed for around 3000 additional classes. These will preferably be built with regional wood. A good example of this was built in Prêles on the Plateau de Diesse above Lake Biel. The new school complex was officially opened on 22 September.
The offices of VPA Architektur Zürich, extrã Landschaftsarchitekten from Bern and Timbatec Holzbauingenieure Zürich have won the project competition announced by the city of Dietikon for the redesign of the Luberzen school complex.
